The current official British Railway description says the recently added Class 43 HST and Mk3 coaches received new liveries. That confirms the train family and coaching stock in the live update. It does not establish a complete livery list, formation, price, route list, performance table, or Guard procedure, so check those fields in the current selector.
Inspect the consist before departure
Read the exact formation shown by the game. An HST service is more than one power car: Mk3 coaches, their order, passenger accommodation, and train length affect the session. Record the livery and coach types only as displayed. A third-party version 1.4.3 report names several new livery groups and Mk3 coach variants, but those details remain Community reported until confirmed in the live shop.
Check the service labels and routes available to that formation. A different number or type of coaches may change which services the generator offers. Do not assume every livery or formation has mechanical differences; many may be visual choices.
Prepare a longer train
Locate power, brake, direction, doors, signal information, and the stop display before moving. Make a low-power departure and observe how the full consist responds. Longer trains require you to think beyond the cab: rear coaches must fit the platform and clear junctions, while the correct stopping position may not be obvious from scenery alone.
Begin braking earlier than with a short starter unit. Use a moderate application, watch the response, and adjust. A late aggressive stop can overshoot the marker or leave coaches poorly placed even when the cab appears near the platform end.
Choose an appropriate route
Use only routes the current selector offers to the Class 43 formation. The HST identity suggests longer-distance work, but British Railway defines its own service and route rules. Check owned Route Packs, service type, calling pattern, and platform length before spawning.
For a first run, choose a route you already know. That lets you compare the train rather than learning every signal and station at the same time. Use Routes List for network categories and Route Packs before spending Coins to solve an access problem.
Handle doors and Guard work
Mk3 coach formations can use a distinct local-door or Guard panel workflow. The public official description does not document it. Before station arrival, the Guard should locate the current local panel and the Driver should confirm who operates opening and closing. Follow visible prompts and the How to Guard guide.
Train length gives the Guard more distance to cover. Prepare the local position before the stop and do ticket checks only when enough time remains to return for dispatch. Do not send the departure signal until the platform, doors, interlock, and starting signal are ready.
Compare liveries correctly
A livery changes the visual identity unless the current game explicitly shows another effect. Do not claim a livery is faster, earns more, or unlocks a route because of its real-world operator. Check ownership condition, availability, coach compatibility, and whether the livery is current, limited, or included with the train.
The third-party update report lists new GNFR, Scotland, and Virgo-related Mk3 combinations. Treat that list as a dated community lead. The live train shop and in-game changelog determine what is available now.
Troubleshoot an HST service
If the train does not move, check the same interlocks as any Driver: direction, brake, doors, safety prompts, starting signal, and active cab. If a route is missing, compare the exact formation and owned access. If a platform stop fails, use the game’s stop marker and adjust your braking point on the next run rather than assuming the route is broken.
If Guard controls differ from another train, do not force the remembered sequence. Find the local panel, read each state, and coordinate with the Driver. If performance drops with a longer consist or busy area, use current Roblox and in-game graphics options; the official page also mentions private servers as a possible response to lag or crashes for eligible players.
Build a useful Class 43 record
After one route, record the formation, livery, service, route, platform fit, braking impression, Driver door role, Guard panel location, and current version. Repeat on a second route before making broad claims. That evidence answers how the train behaves in British Railway without importing specifications from the real HST.
What remains to verify
Class 43, Mk3 coaches, and the existence of new current-update liveries are Official. Exact price, coach formations, livery availability, top speed, acceleration, braking, services, routes, door control, Guard panel, and ownership conditions need current in-game verification.
