British Railway stations are more useful when you know their role in the network, not only their name. A Driver needs the calling pattern, stopping point, platform side, signal, and next line. A Guard needs the usable local door, platform view, and starting indication. A Passenger needs the destination, transfer, and next train. This hub organizes those questions without claiming an older community list is a complete current roster.

Start from the generated timetable. Identify whether the station is a call, pass-through point, origin, terminus, or reversal. As you approach, reduce power early, read the stop distance and signal information, and look for the correct platform side. Train length can change the correct stopping position.
At the platform, use the game’s stop marker and door prompt. Do not open doors based only on a familiar building or old screenshot. After station work, check the starting signal and route before moving. If the train turns or changes line, confirm direction and the next call.
For a new station, record the approach direction, speed reduction, platform, stopping landmark, starting signal, and next junction. That small Driver record remains useful even when the station has more services than you have tested.
Read a station as a Guard
Before arrival, move to a valid local door and understand the current panel. Once stopped, establish the platform side, release only as the train’s procedure allows, supervise boarding, and secure the train. Check the starting signal or a valid OFF indication before sending the departure signal.
Long, curved, or busy platforms make it more important to use the current local position and signal aid. Do not leave a ticket check until the final seconds before a stop. The How to Guard guide explains the full sequence.
Read a station as a Passenger
Verify the train destination and calling pattern before boarding. A station can be served by several service types while a particular train skips your stop. At a transfer, read the next destination and platform rather than assuming every line uses a permanent number.
Community role documentation describes a station-discovery system for Passenger spawning. Confirm it in the current version. If a station is unavailable in the spawn menu, travel there on a service and check again rather than treating the station as closed.
Use Passenger Guide for journey planning and Map for branch connections.
Currently documented station roles
These entries are selected for player orientation, not a complete station count. The Stations List provides more documented names by network family.
Build a responsive station record
For each station, record name, code if shown, line, service types observed, role as through/terminus/junction, platforms used, transfer opportunities, open status, accessibility features visible, current version, and check date. Leave a field empty when the game does not support it.
Avoid copying real-world station information into the Roblox network. British Railway uses fictional or adapted places and its own service rules. A matching real name does not verify a platform, operator, or accessibility feature.
Handle map and timetable changes
After an update, check new station names, renamed stops, platform openings, branch connections, and calling patterns. The Fairholt update is a concrete reason to distrust a pre-update total. A station can remain physically present while a service changes, or a platform can open without every train using it.
If an old guide disagrees with the live game, preserve the current observation and date. Use the in-game changelog or Fourth Rail announcement to understand whether the difference is intended.
Troubleshoot station problems
If the train does not stop, check whether the station appears in the current timetable. If doors will not open, verify the stop marker, platform side, interlock, and role ownership. If a Passenger cannot spawn there, check discovery state and current menu rules. If a transfer fails, compare the destination and service calls, not only the station name.
For a missing route, use Routes List and verify the train, formation, service type, and Route Pack.
Sources and confidence
The official page confirms the active network expansion and Fairholt branch. Station roles and older network lists are Community reported. Current totals, codes, platforms, stops, accessibility, and layouts need in-game verification.
