This British Railway routes list organizes lines that appear in game-specific community documentation and the current official update. It is a navigation aid, not a guaranteed complete timetable. The route generator can change calls by train, formation, service type, owned Route Packs, and version, so confirm every service in the live menu before driving.
Main network index
Names in the community index can outlive a redesign or pack restructure. Use the current spelling shown by the game when making a purchase or reporting a problem.
Service types change the route
Regional services usually make more calls and can be available to many multiple units. Semi-fast and Intercity services can skip stops and require suitable rolling stock. Shuttle services may use particular trains, formations, or liveries. Empty-coaching-stock routes move a train without the normal passenger pattern.
Those are functional descriptions, not a permanent promise for every line. Read the service label and generated timetable. A station located physically on your path is not automatically a scheduled stop.
Route Packs and prerequisites
Community documentation describes packs for main lines, branches, and extensions. Some extensions require the main line first. The live shop should show that dependency before purchase. Check the exact pack name, current price, area unlocked, parent requirement, and any free-choice progression shown to your account.
Use Route Packs for a purchase workflow. Do not copy old prices from a table without seeing the current shop.
Train and formation compatibility
The selected train determines which route types can be generated. Community tables describe classes that receive Regional only, others with Semi-fast or Intercity access, and formations whose route set changes with length or livery. Coupled trains may only use services common to every unit in the consist.
In the live selector, compare the exact formation with the route list. If a route disappears after coupling or adding coaches, return to the shorter formation and verify the restriction. Use Trains List for the rolling-stock side.
Read a generated timetable
Before departure, identify origin, destination, next stop, calling pattern, and terminus. Find the line and any branch junction on the Map guide. During the trip, follow signals and the current timetable; do not stop at every station simply because an older guide says the service called there.
At the terminus, wait for the completion state before choosing another service. A turnaround can generate a different pattern even when the train remains the same.
Troubleshoot a missing route
Check pack ownership first, then parent-pack dependency, train class, formation, livery or variant, service type, and current server version. A route may be available to another player’s train because their account or formation differs. It may also have changed after an update.
If all conditions appear correct, record the selector state and exact missing destination. Rejoin a current server once. Use the in-game changelog or a Fourth Rail support path rather than buying another item blindly.
Evidence limits
Fairholt is Official in the current description. The rest of this index is Community reported from a route reference that may predate the latest branch update. Exact stops, prices, pack boundaries, generation weights, service permissions, and formation rules require current in-game confirmation.
