Mill Bridge is documented as an important station on the Mill Bridge Mainline, a corridor running from the Leaton direction toward Brynmouth in community references. The current Fairholt update also makes the wider Mill Bridge corridor important for branch planning. Exact platforms, services, route packs, and station layout must be verified in the live game.
Place Mill Bridge on the network
Use the current map to find the Mill Bridge Mainline and trace it back toward Leaton. Then locate the Fairholt connection area described around Fortis Green. Mill Bridge can be a destination, through point, or part of a service extending farther along the documented corridor; the generated timetable decides which role applies.
Do not confuse the station with the whole main line or Route Pack. Owning or reaching one does not prove every extension is available.
Approach as a Driver
Read the timetable and stopping distance before the station. Reduce power early and watch the current signal sequence. A mainline station can have several tracks or service patterns, so follow the routed platform rather than steering from memory.
Use the stop marker and train length to place the consist. Confirm the platform side before door release. If the service terminates or turns around, wait for the current completion state and set direction only after understanding the next route. Community documentation has described turnaround functionality at Mill Bridge in version 1.4.0, but the current scope needs live confirmation.
On departure, check whether the service continues on the main line, returns toward Leaton, or uses a branch connection. The next call and starting signal answer that more reliably than an old station diagram.
Dispatch as a Guard
Prepare the local door before arrival. At the stop, follow the train-specific division of Driver and Guard door work. Check the platform, close and secure the train, confirm interlock, and inspect the starting signal or available indicator before communicating departure.
If the train is reversing or changing service, confirm the Driver is in the active cab and the timetable is ready. Do not send a departure signal based on the previous direction.
Travel as a Passenger
Check whether the train terminates, continues beyond Mill Bridge, or connects toward another branch. Read the current destination and calls. If making a transfer, verify the next platform after arrival because update work can change platform assignments.
Use Map for the corridor and Fairholt Branchline for the current update context. Station discovery and spawning should be checked in the live Passenger menu.
Verify the station fields
Service role
Record whether the current trip terminates, passes through, or reverses, along with train and service type.
Platform
Record direction, number if shown, stopping marker, door side, and starting signal.
Network connection
Record the preceding and following calls and whether the trip relates to a branch or extension.
Current access
Record Route Pack, train, formation, version, and check date; leave unsupported fields blank.
Avoid old-map errors
A pre-Fairholt map may still show the Mill Bridge trunk correctly while omitting the newest branch and platform changes nearby. Treat it as historical orientation. The live map, generated timetable, signs, and signals determine current operation.
If an old route table names different adjacent stations, check whether the service pattern, direction, or version differs. Report the exact train and calls rather than saying only that Mill Bridge changed.
Troubleshoot a missing Mill Bridge service
Check Route Pack ownership, parent requirements, train, formation, service type, and current server version. A physical line on the map does not guarantee your selected train can generate it. If doors fail at the station, verify the stop marker, side, interlock, and Guard responsibility.
Evidence note
Mill Bridge’s mainline role and older turnaround information are Community reported. Current platforms, station code, services, branch connections, accessibility, layout, and pack rules need current in-game verification. Fairholt itself is official, but public first-party text does not define the complete Mill Bridge station impact.
