Fortis Green matters in the current British Railway update because a dated third-party report places the Fairholt Branchline connection there and says platforms 3 and 4 opened with version 1.4.3. The official Roblox description confirms Fairholt but does not name Fortis Green or platform numbers, so those station details remain Community reported until checked in game.
Confirm the junction in the current map
Open the live map and find Fortis Green on the Mill Bridge corridor. Trace the main line in both directions and identify where the Fairholt Branchline leaves it. Read a generated timetable that uses the branch and record the calls before and after Fortis Green.
If the live station differs from a pre-update map, use the current signs, platforms, route, and signals. Do not force the old layout onto the new branch.
Approach as a Driver
Watch the signal sequence and any route indication approaching the junction. A service continuing on the main line and one taking Fairholt can share the station area before diverging. Follow the routed signal and next call rather than assuming the train should take the visually obvious path.
Begin braking early on the first visit. Identify the current platform and stop marker. If platforms 3 and 4 are active as reported, confirm which direction and services use them; do not turn that one report into a permanent assignment.
After station work, read the starting signal and next stop. If traction mode matters for the electrified branch, confirm the current Class 387 or other train’s state before applying power. Use Class 387 Guide for the dual-mode checks.
Dispatch as a Guard
Prepare the local door before arrival and verify the platform side only after the train is routed. A changed platform arrangement can make an old habitual side wrong. Follow the current rolling-stock door procedure, secure the local door, and confirm interlock.
At a junction station, the starting signal check is especially important. Use the physical signal or valid indicator. Do not send the departure signal because the timetable is ready while the route remains at danger.
Transfer as a Passenger
Read the destination and calls before leaving the train. If Fortis Green provides a current transfer between mainline and Fairholt services, verify the next platform and departure in the live station. Not every train on the main line needs to enter the branch, and a branch service may have a limited stopping pattern.
Use Passenger Guide for journey recovery. If you board the wrong train, leave at a safe called station and recalculate rather than resetting mid-service without checking alternatives.
Verify the update fields
Troubleshoot the wrong route or platform
Check the timetable, destination, service type, and signal. A different platform can be correct for the direction or current service. If the Fairholt route is absent, check Route Pack access, train compatibility, formation, and server version. If the Class 387 cannot take power, check normal cab interlocks and traction mode.
Compare mainline and branch visits
Run one timetable that continues on the Mill Bridge corridor and one that explicitly enters Fairholt. Record the routed platform, signal indication, next call, and traction state for each. This comparison can confirm the junction’s current behavior without assuming every train uses the reported new platforms in the same direction.
For a Passenger check, read both destination and calls before boarding. For a Guard check, note whether the starting signal or indicator can be seen from the working local door. Keep the version and date beside the observation so a later platform change is easy to identify.
Evidence note
Fairholt Branchline and its electrified identity are Official. Fortis Green’s branch relationship and reported new platforms are Community reported from a current third-party article. Exact platforms, services, station code, layout, signals, traction boundary, and transfer paths need current in-game verification.
